He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. "Junior" Trahan and Charlene Bryan Trahan; and his pet Brandy. He is survived by: his children, Madison Trahan and Dakota Dallas (Mason); his grandchildren, Knox and Essie Sloane; his sisters, Zona Trahan, Connie Powell (Dennis), Sharla Marshall (Glen) and Tanya Goldbeck; and his pet Whitey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Traci's Texas Tails, reflecting John's deep love for animals.
