He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Wesley Baker and Marcela Lorene Baker (Davidson); his stepfather Gene Payne; his daughter Paula Jean Cox; and his siblings, Houston Baker, Ann Loftin (Bud Loftin), Ray Baker and Larry Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Joy Baker; his daughters, Valarie Baker Teague of Orange, Brenda Joy Gray (Thomas) of Destin and Amy Henry (Jimmy) of Orange; his grandchildren, Wesley Lovelace (Shay), Ericka Williams (Chris), Randi Hensley (Heath), David Wayne Teague (Brittney), Jeana Jeanise (Stephen), Tyler Teague (Ana), Jordan Cox, Taylor Jones (Dustin), Brandon Landry (Shelley) and Ashton Landry; his brother Gary Baker of Oklahoma; his nieces, Pam Baker and Cindy Loftin; and his nephew Houston Baker, Jr.. He is also survived by sister-in-law, June Baker, 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
