She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Elmer Sherrod and Gertrude Barton Sherrod; her husband Gus Alborn; her daughter Carolyn Sue Jackson; her sister Trubie Beebe; and her grandson Scottie Schelintz.
She is survived by: her son J. W. Clark (Cheryl). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home (504 5th St, Orange, TX 77630, USA). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
