With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Winifred Bales Ward of Orange, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne F. Bales and Anna Dell Bales (Gidley); her husband John A. Ward, Jr.; and her sister Beverly Walles. She is survived by: her sister Frances Burton; her nephews, Michael Walles (Kristinna), David Walles and Ross Burton (Lera); her niece Joanna Read (Blane); and her brother-in-law Wilford Walles.
