He was predeceased by: his father Willie Earl Evans. He is survived by: his mother Sarah F. Evans; his brothers, Chris Evans and Andrew A. Evans; his niece Shayla Evans of Fayetteville, NC; his godmother Joann Green; and his close friend Robert Juarez. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many other extended family.
He relocated to Washington DC where he worked at Breaking the Chain Foundation (BCF) as Director.
