He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgel Allen and Velma Warren Allen. He is survived by: his wife Diane Allen; his children, Suzonne Vann (Joe), Danette Matthews (Leonard), Paul Davis (Kim) and Gina Smith (Jerald); and his grandchildren, Billy Melancon (Christina), Joe Ivy Vann, Jeremy Vann, Sarah Yeldell (Clayton), Josh Matthews (Kira), Madison Morrison (Lane), Mason Davis, Lauren Knight (Cody), Hannah Lucia (Curt), Jessica Melancon (Jarred), Kasey Smith and Gabrielle Shultz (Jimmy). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; 5 cats; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Claybar Funeral Home - Bridge City (800 Highland Dr, Bridge City, TX 77611). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Old Ramah Cemetery (205 Chester Warren Rd, Ashland, LA 71002).
