It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Curtis Bruns of Orange Grove, Texas, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Larry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Larry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Kermit Bruns. He is survived by: his mother Gertrude Bruns; his brothers, Dwain Bruns of Orange Grove and Dyron Bruns of Orange Grove; his nieces, Carrie Bruns of Manor and Heather Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his nephew Taylor Gisler of Orange Grove.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John of the Cross Catholic Church (200 S Metz St, Orange Grove, TX 78372). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at the Hermann Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers family would like donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
