He was predeceased by: his father Luis G. Ponce Sr.; and his son Anthony Albert Ponce. He is survived by: his wife Diana Ponce of Orange Grove; his son Tino Kay Jr. (Yadira) of Harlingen; his grandsons, Jonathan Alex Kay and Joseph Anthony Kay; his mother Genoveva Ponce (Villanueva) of George West; and his siblings, Christina Ponce of George West and Luis G. Ponce Jr. (Kristina) of Pearland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
