He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Cantu and Olivia Cantu (Granadoz); his sons, Jesus Cantu III, Pete Cantu and Alcardo Cantu; and his siblings, Cruz Cantu, Juan Cantu Sr. and Norma Cantu Mendez.
He is survived by: his wife Adela Cantu; his children, Lisa Cantu (Rick Lopez) and Miguel Cantu; his stepchildren, Danny Sanchez, Freddy Sanchez, Adam Sanchez and Miguela Sanchez; his grandchildren, Karyn Cantu, Ashley Villarreal, Kristopher Lopez, Kalista Lopez, Marisa Fischer, Kaitlin Cantu, Victoria Cantu-Munguia, Sarina Garcia, Daniella Sanchez, Yadier Sanchez, Camryn Gonzales, Eric Sanchez, Savannah Sanchez and Aylssa Sanchez; his great grandchildren, Keelian Gonzalez, Evelyn Fischer, Amara Webb, Carson and Webb; and his brother Robert Cantu Sr..
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (121 N Duval St, Mathis, TX 78368). A rosary was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
