With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francisca Rivera of Orange Grove, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilfredo Rivera Sr.; her parents, Juan Contreras and Paula Contreras; her sons, Gilbert Rivera Sr. (Irma Rivera) and Michael Rivera Sr.; her grandson Roger Rivera Jr.; her great grandchild John Isaac Villarreal; and her siblings, Catarino Contreras Sr., Dominga Alaniz, Herlinda Rivera and Flavia Rivera.
She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Villarreal (Ernest) of Orange Grove, TX, Noemi Lopez (Jaime) of Pearsall, TX, Norma Koricanek (Jeff) of Gonzales, TX, Roger Rivera (Annette) of Orange Grove, TX and Wilfredo Rivera Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX; her sister Lydia Ortiz (Richard) of Alice, TX; her daughter-in-law Lillie Rivera (Michael) of Orange Grove, TX; and her grandchildren, Brian Villarreal, Misty Parrish, Vanessa Martinez, Gilbert Rivera Jr., Monica Rivera, Andrea Martinez, Drew Rivera, Petina Rivera, Michael Rivera, Jr., Leah Rivera, Veronica Rivera, Celeste Lopez, Levi Lopez and Danny Garza. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
There was nothing she liked more than vacationing with her family from youngest to oldest, which they did for many years until Covid-19 2020.
