He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarita Mendoza (Games) and Florentino Mendoza; his wife Guadalupe Mendoza; his sons, Florentino Mendoza, III and William Mendoza; and his sister Lucy Gonzales.
He is survived by: his sister Lydia Mendoza of Orange Grove, Texas; his children, Gloria Ramirez (late Louis) of San Antonio, Texas, Patrick Mendoza (Cooky) of San Antonio, Texas and Mike Mendoza (Lourdes) of San Antonio, Texas; and his daughter-in-law Evangelina Mendoza of Kingsville. He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
