With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Turner of Onalaska, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 97. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Turner and Lillie Turner; and his brothers, Louis Turner and Charlie Turner. He is survived by: his wife Levon Turner of Onalaska, Texas; and his children, Shari Nettles of Livingston, Vanessa Shelley (John) of San Leon, Kimberley Braden of Louisville, Kentucky and Eugene Cezar (Shalise) of Bowling, Texas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
