He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Herring and Clema Mae Herring (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Herring (Frey); his son James Herring; his daughter-in-law Sherrie; and his daughters, Sherry Mowles and Penny Johnson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
