With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tony Weaver of Onalaska, Texas, born in Brookport, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tony left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Tony is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tony's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert Weaver and Connie Weaver (Belt); his wife Jo Ann Weaver; and his sisters, Peggy Mullinex, Jo Ann Weaver and Ruth Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Gwenda Lockett of Leander, Kelly Rae Freeman of Georgetown, Tony Allen Weaver (Melissa) of Liberty, Texas and Lee Ann Mahurin Weaver of Onalaska, Texas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home (212 Old Groveton Rd, Onalaska, TX 77360). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
