She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Thompson and Dettie Thompson (Boyd); and her sister Fran Thompson Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Sara; her husband Marty Newman of Onalaska, Texas; her son Jeffrey Newman of Spring, Texas; her son-in-law Troy Hinson of Houston, Texas; and her siblings, Bobby F. Thompson of Mansfield, Texas and Linda Thompson of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, other relatives, and friends.
