He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Yandell and Gerladine Yandell (Mensch). He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Yandell of Onalaska, Texas; his sons, Donnie Yandell (Angie) of Levelland and Tim Yandell; his grandchildren, Hunter Yandell (Lindsey), Reed Yandell (Kaleigh) and Quinn Yandell; his great grandchildren, Wake Yandell and Risk Yandell; and his brothers, Ronnie Yandell (Nancy) of Lubbock and Kevin Yandell (Janie) of Talco, Texas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
