He is survived by: his wife Shirley Settles McIntyre; his sons, Keith (Paula McIntyre) and Kyle (Dawn McIntyre); his sister Maxine; his siblings-in-law, Nick Garretson of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Jimmy Barron of Cornett, Texas, Nell Settles of Omaha, Barbara Rambo of Omaha, Ann McIntyre of Simms and Faye McIntyre of Brownwood, Texas; his grandchildren, Melina McIntyre, Kerisa LaFleur (Troy), Lacey McIntyre, Dakota Reuter (Brittany), Dalton Reuter, Tony McIntyre and Andrew Laffoon; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Savant, Charlee LaFleur and Bane LaFleur. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Omaha or to Cypress Basin Hospice.
