He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifton and Anna Belle LaRue Clifton; and his siblings, Byron Clifton, Adrian Clifton, Billie George Clifton, Lind Buchanan, Virgie Bridges and Martha June Wilkins.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Clifton of Omaha; his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Cathy Clifton of Clarksville, Tennessee; his sister Jeane Callan of Hughes Springs, Texas; and his grandson Cameron Clifton of Clarksville, Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or the Scottish Rite Hospital.
