He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. Foster and Marion "Mutt" Driggers Foster; his mother-in-law Mary Fay Harrison McConnell; his brother Jerry Dewayne Foster (Maxine Cope Foster); his brother-in-law Thurman "Bud" Edwards; and his aunts, Virginia Driggers Boose and Nellie Jo Driggers Tigert.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Quay McConnell Foster; his children, Debbie Foster Pepper (David), Virginia Foster Goodwin (Walt) and David Foster; his grandchildren, Dylan Foster, Jacob Foster, Matt Pepper (Hailey), Garrett Thomas, Mikki Henson (Johnny) and Jessica Hill (James); his great grandchildren, Gauge Pepper, Brent Hinson, Gauge Thomas, Naomi Hill and Peyton Hill; his sister Elaine Edwards; and his sister-in-law Sonja Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
