He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis Lee Joyner and Lillian Irene Thigpen Joyner; his siblings, Johnny Joyner and Betty; and his brother-in-law Jewell Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Joyner of Omaha; his daughter Glenda Lewis; his son-in-law Phil Smith of Omaha; his son Rickey; his daughter-in-law Rene Joyner of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Joyner of Omaha and Glenn McLerran of Trenton, Texas; his grandchildren, Aaron Lewis (Tiffany), Casey Lewis (Leslie), Jarrod Joyner (Amanda) and Katelyn Black (Colton); and his pet Penny. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
