It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Smith Sr. of Omaha, Texas, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Smith and Velma Carson Smith; his wife Wanda Smith; and his brother James "Sonny" Smith. He is survived by: his children, Melody Smith of Alexandria, Louisiana and Bill, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sonia Smith of Naples, Texas; and his grandchildren, Ashley Edwards, Lindsey Wesley (Michael), Justin Burch, Brandon Burch (Mary), Drew Smith (Clare) and Hannah Womack (Danny). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
