It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Belle Schooler of Olton, Texas, born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Maggard and Vera Maggard; her former spouse J. M. Carter (Skeet); her spouse J. L. Schooler; and her children, Larry Carter of Claytonville and Jan Wise of Corsicana. She was also cherished by one great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
