He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Walker and Viola Walker; his wife Lavenia Walker (Howard); his former wife Wilma Walker (Bloxam); his son Michael Walker; and his siblings, Melba Medlin, Louise Harmon, Imogene Bannister and Dennis Walker.

He is survived by: his children, Lester Walker (Sharon) of Frederick, Oklahoma and Wanell Pierson of Plainview. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to the Runningwater Draw Care Center in Dwain's memory.
