He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Walker and Viola Walker; his wife Lavenia Walker (Howard); his former wife Wilma Walker (Bloxam); his son Michael Walker; and his siblings, Melba Medlin, Louise Harmon, Imogene Bannister and Dennis Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Lester Walker (Sharon) of Frederick, Oklahoma and Wanell Pierson of Plainview. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plainview - Kornerstone Funeral Directors (3605 SW 3rd, Plainview, TX 79072). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Olton Cemetery (751 Co Rd 321, Olton, TX 79064).
The family suggests memorials to the Runningwater Draw Care Center in Dwain's memory.
