He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jorge Valdez and Maria. He is survived by: his children, Tony Valdez, Jr. of Olton, Danny Valdez of Phoenix, James Valdez of Phoenix and Kandy Garcia of Phoenix; his sisters, Sylvia Valdez of El Paso and Rosario Valdez of Santa Monica; and his cousin Berta Lopez of El Paso.
