She was predeceased by: her spouse Herbert H. Slater; and her brothers, Melton E. Kunkel and Wilbur J. Kunkel. She is survived by: her children, Cary Slater of Olney, Stephen Slater (Cathy) of Olney and Susan Kilpatrick (Sam) of Olney; and her sister-in-law Mary Alice Kunkel of Terral. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
