She was predeceased by: her parents, W. W. "Buck" Brown and Mary Lorine Brown (Kirksey); her spouse Garl Winston Carnley; her daughter DeAnna Lyn Spitzer; and her grandson Chase Spitzer.

She is survived by: her son Garl; her daughter-in-law Natalie Carnley of Olney; her brother Sam; her sister-in-law Betty Brown of Graham; her sister Barbara; her brother-in-law Tommy Arispe of Graham; her grandchildren, Kati Terry of Olney, Jay T. (Halie Spitzer) and Kalee (Chico Acosta); and her great grandchildren, SkyLyn Terry of Olney, Jaden Acosta of Stamford and Jackson Acosta of Stamford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
