She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Valdez and Juanita Valdez (Bueno); her siblings, Santiago Valdez, Elias Valdez, Eugene Valdez, Jr. and Odilia Valdez; her nephew Michael Valdez; her daughter Barbara Garza; her grandson Shawn Garza; and her great grandchild Paisley Jade Ford.
She is survived by: her son Vincent; her daughter-in-law Mary Garza of Wichita Falls, Texas; her daughters, Cynthia Hinojosa of Olney, Irene Green (Frank Vick), Lisa Acuna of Olney and Michelle Garza (John Gonzalez); and her siblings, Mike Valdez (Gloria) of Alice, Texas, Sylvia Solis of Alice, Orlie Lopez (Mario) of Corpus Christi and Connie Valdez of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
