With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert H. Koester (Olney, Texas), who passed away on February 21, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Koester and Anna Koester (Hausler); his sons, Glen Ray Koester and Milton; his daughter-in-law Eva Koester; and his siblings, Lydia Koester, Edwin Koester and Arnold Koester.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Buerger; his children, Daniel Koester (Jean) of Brilliant, Alabama, Connie Koester of Olney and Brenda Roberts (Paul) of Archer City; his grandchildren, Allan Koester (Monika), Kyra McCracken, Ernest Koester (Karrie) and Rebekah Koester; his great grandchildren, Kalli Koester, Spencer Koester and Emma Koester; his nieces, Lynda Abbott of Dallas and Patricia Taylor of Valparaiso; and also Diana Tubb.
