He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Parsons and Mary Parsons (Ellison); and his son Jack Parsons of Chickasaw, Oklahoma.. He is survived by: his wife Kay Parsons of Olney, Texas; and his daughters, Julie Thornton (Dean) of Olney, Texas, Judie Sartor (Cory) of Denison, Texas and Jennie Handke (Glen) of Duncan, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-granddaughters; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, several nieces and nephews, one brother, and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lunn Funeral Home (300 S Avenue M, Olney, TX 76374). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home (300 S Avenue M, Olney, TX 76374).
