It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaynell Francis Slayton Leath (Olney, Texas), born in San Leandro, California, who passed away on January 13, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William H. Moore; her sons, Steven Howard Leath and Jason Wiley Slayton Leath; her mother Ruby Melvene Slayton (Taylor); and her stepfather Wiley V. Slayton.
She is survived by: her significant other Michael Lemmer of Olney, Texas; her godson Jacob Ward; her siblings, Betty M. Rogers (Mike Dannelley), Kristopher W. Moore of Olney and Charles R. Slayton (Bobbie) of Turner Falls, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews, Teresa Crumly of LaPine, Laurie Mills of Gainesville, Wayne Rogers of Houston, Robbie Moore of Hurst and Charles Slayton of Thackerville, Oklahoma; her aunt Rose Taylor Bagwell of Burleson, Texas; and also Jacob Ryan Ward. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of many friends.
