Darla left this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her former husband Wayne Barrett; her husband Stephen Kodar; and her parent Lorene Speer (Bagley). She is survived by: her daughter Sharla "Charlie" Carr of Olney, Texas; her grandchildren, Angie Roznovsky of Cuero, Rene of Boston, Massachusets and Matt Carr of Pensacola, Florida; her sister Daphne Hawkins of Weatherford; and her friend Vickie Coy of Joplin, Missouri.. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home (300 S Avenue M, Olney, TX 76374). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
