She was predeceased by: her parents, Matias Garcia and Manuela Perez of Garcia; her siblings, Gregoria Garcia of Garcia, Urbano, Mario, Ricardo, Zenon and Jaime Garcia Perez; and her daughter Dinora Elizabeth Navarro.

She is survived by: her husband Juan Pablo Navarro; her children, Diana Lopez (Hector), Juan Navarro (Leticia), Julio Navarro, Jose P. Navarro, Jaime Navarro (Rosalind) and Javier Navarro (Veronica); her grandchildren, Alondra, Angel, Andres Lopez, Matthew, Noah and Julienne Navarro; and her siblings, Julio Garcia Perez and Amada Garcia Perez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens (4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526). Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (657 Springmart Blvd, Brownsville, TX 78526).
