It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Luisa Mendez of Olmito, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Rogelio Mendez Sr.; her sons, Ramiro and Roel; and her parents, Maria Cortez and Carlos Cortez.

She is survived by: her son Rogelio Mendez Jr. (Monica Mendez); her grandson Seth; her daughter Rosalinda Mendez (Dirk Van Tuerenhout); and her granddaughter Sara.
