She was predeceased by: her husband Eustoquio Alvarez; and her siblings, Reymundo Cruz, Ramon Cruz, Guadalupe Cruz and Amada Esquivel.

She is survived by: her children, Blanca E. Calvillo (Peter), Elvia E. Rodriguez (Pete), Jose Luis Alvarez (Melissa Manrique) and Veronica Guerrero (David); and her sisters, Lydia Galvan and Ofelia Sanchez. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
