She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosalio Vela and Josefa Vela. She is survived by: her pet Max; her children, Delia Yoder and Alberto Cervantes, Jr.; and her siblings, Elvia Saldivar, Ernestina Vela, Rosalio Vela, Elida Huerta, Raul Vela, Ruben Vela, Ester Vela, Ramon Vela and Eva Reyes. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
