She was predeceased by: her husband Mariano Mejia Sr.; and her parents, Benito Hernandez Sr. and Serapia Ramirez. She is survived by: her children, Estella Mejia-Gonzales (Eliasar) and Mariano Mejia Jr. (Graciela Rubio); her brothers, Benito Hernandez, Jr. and Ruben Hernandez; and her grandchildren, Emily Gonzales, Eliasar Gonzales Jr., Eileen Gonzales, Mariano G. Mejia and Ximena P. Mejia.
