He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tomasa Moran and Manuel Garza; his wife Ninfa Salazar Garza; his children, Pierre Garza (Dora), Arneldo Garza, Jr., Manuel Garza (Evelyn) and Lisa Marie Medrano (Daniel); and his brothers, Alfredo Garza and Manuel Garza, Sr.. He was also cherished by six grandchildren.
