It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys L. McClure (Oglesby, Texas), who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gladys L. McClure to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Goff and Gladys Venita Goff (James); her husband John D. McClure, Sr.; her stepparents, John Henry Cole and Sue Goff; her great grandchild Daniel Cooper; and her siblings, Betty Cole and Jimmy Goff.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Matthews (Deborah) of Hot Springs, Paula Vincent (Jay) of Gatesville, Cathy Burks (Paul) of Belton, John D. McClure, Jr. (Debbie) of Gatesville, Jimmy McClure of Waco and Teresa Edwards (Loyd) of Oglesby; and her siblings, Johnny Goff, Peggy Rogers and Willie May Westerman. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
