He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloiso Ogeda and Betty Ogeda (Barrella); his siblings, Cruz Rodriguez and Tomas Ogeda; and his daughter-in-law Terri Francis Ogeda.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Ogeda (Garza) of O'Donnell; his children, Juan Ogeda Jr. of Lamesa, David Ogeda (Griselda) of Big Spring, Joe Ogeda (Mary) of Lamesa, Rosa Ogeda of Lamesa, Rene Lopez of Lyford, Norma Ramirez of Lubbock, Christina G. Lopez (Michael) of Conroe and Michael Rodriguez (Rose) of Idalou; and his siblings, Maria Vela of Lamesa, Josie Solis of Lamesa, Isidro Ogeda (Stella) of Lamesa, Abaristo Ogeda (Lucy) of Lamesa and Chon Ogeda of Lamesa. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
