He was predeceased by: his father H. "Shorty" Thompson; and his son William Paul Hale. He is survived by: his children, Robbye Hale (Heather) of Odessa and Danlyn Hale of Houston; his mother Virginia Thompson of O'Donnell; his siblings, Michael Ann Brewer (Danny) of Lubbock, Scotty Thompson (Terri) of Sundown and Deborah Lester of Lamesa; his grandchildren, Kaci, Kalli, Tobey, Christian, Brian and Bradyn; his great grandchildren, Courtney, Blake, Noah and Paisley; and his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ashton, Jeanie, Shane and Marissa. He is also survived by His siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask donations to be made in honor of Danny to the O'Donnell Volunteer Fire Department.
