He was predeceased by: his parents, Hester Roper and Willie Roper; and his siblings, Deloris and Larry. He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Kevin, Deidra and Brent. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
