She was predeceased by: her mother Guadalupe Ortega Cano. She is survived by: her father Lidio Ortega; her children, Xavier Cervantes and Sophia Baca; her stepchildren, Alex Baca, Isiah Baca, Irie Baca and Aliyaha Baca; her siblings, Veronica Espino, Marisol Araujo, Edmundo Ortega and Rene Ortega; and her siblings-in-law, Carlos Araujo and Tina Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory (1040 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hope Alive Church (305 W 19th St, Odessa, TX 79761). A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the American Heritage Cemetery (4100 FM1788, Midland, TX 79707).
