He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Morris and Beryl Dunn Morris; his wife Barbara Rose Burgess; and his siblings, Benjamin Franklin Morris, Jr., Charley Ray Morris, Joe Bill Morris, Mary Binine Morris, Eva Lee Morris, Jessie Rose Morris, Vera Clel Morris, Melba Omega Morris and Alvin Ray Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Boggs (Curtis) and Jeffrey Morris (Renee); and his grandchildren, Kenneth Boggs (Laura), Crystal Hinds (Jason), Leon Calvin (Ashley) and Sheridan Shipley. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
