He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Olivas and Tomasa Sanchez; his wife Otilia R Olivas; and his son Pilar Olivas. He is survived by: his children, Raul, Edmundo, Mabi, Mario and Gerardo; and his sisters, Manuela Carrillo and Rita Ramirez. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
