He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Ervin Sr. and Josephine Fullbright-Ervin; his grandparents, Joe Eddie Fullbright, Nancy Fullbright, Turner Ervin and Willie Ervin; and his daughter Janelle Phergson.
He is survived by: his wife Onita Ervin; his siblings, Clara Washington, Roy Charles Ervin, Jackqulyn Genes, Mary Jo Brown, Morris Ray, Melvin Ray and Latrice Smith; his children, Bryan Ervin (Rosie Ervin), Peggy Mackey, Trey Odell Ervin III (Brandi Evans), Quincy Ervin, Cindy Washington (Ernest Washington) and Myra Brown; and his aunt Eddie Mae Joiner. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
