It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Gummelt (Odessa, Texas), born in Bogata, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Ward and Melba Ward; her siblings, Rufus, John, Dean, Jerry, Roger Ward and Jo Hoover; her husbands, William A. Robbins and Bill Gummelt; her children, James, Neil Robbins and Judy Johnson; her children-in-law, Rene Robbins and Eddie Harris; and her granddaughter Angela Harris.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Robbins (Patty) and Amy Harris of Colorado City; her children-in-law, Melvin Johnson of Midland and Linda Robbins of Arlington; and her siblings, Felix Ward (June), Billy Ward (Glenda), Merle Palmer, Nina Couch, Shirley Anderson and Sandra Stockton (Don). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
