He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent James Gurwell; and his children, Joe Dowell, Shannon Hampton, Michael Hampton, Cody Hampton, Jeannie Bulls and Jessie Clarkson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Acres West Funeral Chapel (8115 W University Blvd, Odessa, TX 79764). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Community Baptist Church (9902 W University Blvd, Odessa, TX 79764).
