He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughan Pierce and Opal Jones (Eloise Sharp); and his stepfather Ernest Sharp. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Locklar (Burleigh) and Max Sharp Jr.; his grandchildren, Greg Tindol (Kelly), Laura Steptoe (Marcus), Cody Sharp and Casey Sharp; his great grandchildren, Heather Allbright (Collin), Patrick Tindol (Aurora), Zachery Harris and Cameron Reeves; and his great great grandchildren, Zoie, Mya, Brooklynn, Dallas, Jaylen, Ivy and Aaliyah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the same location.
