Matilde Carrasco Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2025, at the age of 93, Matilde Carrasco (Odessa, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cipriano Gonzales and Merced Gonzales; her husband Aron Carrasco; her children, Pete Carrasco, Aron Carrasco Jr. and Yolanda Barela; and her granddaughter Debbie Carrasco.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Hernandez (Albert), Aurora Rivas (Mickey), Anna Rodriguez (Israel), Elsie Villa (Luis) and Sandra Carrasco. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous great- great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the same location.
