It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Childers (Odessa, Texas), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Bartlett and Lucy Mae Gobble; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Gobble, Melvin Gobble, Preston Gobble and Leta Thomas; and her grandchildren, Marissa McCollum and Danny McCollum Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Susie DeBorde (Clint) of Odessa and John Ames (Peggy) of Waxahachie; and her children, Davina McNeal of Conroe, David W. Childers Jr. (Ronda) of May and Lucy Johnson (Wade) of Midland. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6801 E Business 20, Odessa, TX 79762). A reception will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM.
